Australia's largest bird of prey, the Wedge-Tailed Eagle, or Bunjil, is central in Australian Aboriginal mythology. To the Kulin people of central Victoria, Bunjil is regarded as one of two Gods who were responsible for creating the world. The other being Waa the crow.
Each Songbird whistle necklace is skilfully hand-shaped from clay, fired, then hand-painted by our team of creative artisans in Northern Thailand. Because of their handmade nature no two birds are the same, making them even more unique and characterful.
